THE OWNER’S GUIDE

Considering Selling Your Business in Fort Worth or the Western Metroplex?

Mondsegel Capital welcomes confidential conversations with owners of established businesses throughout Fort Worth, Tarrant County, and Parker County—including Azle, Lake Worth, Weatherford, and surrounding communities.

We are a prospective long-term buyer, not a business broker. Owners considering retirement, succession, or a change in ownership can speak directly with our founder about whether their company might be a fit.

The Businesses We Seek

Our interests are focused on established, privately held businesses with sound underlying economics, durable customer relationships, and opportunities for responsible long-term ownership.

Annual EBITDAApproximately $100,000 to $1 million

These are areas of interest rather than a commitment to acquire any particular company.

A Long-Term Perspective on a Growing Region

Fort Worth and its western communities are home to established manufacturers, processors, distributors, and specialized service businesses that support the region’s economy. Continued residential and commercial development can create opportunities for businesses able to serve new customers, invest in capacity, and maintain dependable operations.

Not every owner in Fort Worth or the western Metroplex is preparing to exit. Some want to retain an ownership stake, pursue expansion, or strengthen an established business after a period of rapid growth. Mondsegel considers both full acquisitions and controlling-interest partnerships, including selective recapitalizations where new investment can support a credible operating plan. These descriptions reflect Mondsegel Capital’s investment interests and do not constitute a commitment to provide financing, invest capital, or complete any transaction. Each opportunity is subject to evaluation, available capital, applicable approvals, negotiated terms, and definitive agreements.

Growth alone does not determine the value of a company. We consider sustainable earnings, customer concentration, management depth, equipment and capital requirements, working capital, and the competitive position of each business.

Our founder, David Eisele, is based in the Fort Worth area and brings nearly two decades of experience in commercial finance and working with privately held businesses. Meet our founder.

Tarrant and Parker County Businesses

We welcome conversations throughout Tarrant County, including Fort Worth, Lake Worth, Azle, Saginaw, Haslet, and neighboring communities; and throughout Parker County, including Weatherford, Aledo, Willow Park, Hudson Oaks, Springtown, and neighboring communities.

Whether a company is located in a growing commercial corridor, a small industrial park, or a long-established family facility, its underlying business merits matter more to us than the size of its hometown.

Questions Owners Often Ask

Do I need a business broker to contact Mondsegel?

No. You can contact us directly. A direct conversation may simplify the first stage of exploring a sale, but it does not guarantee a higher price or lower total transaction costs. We encourage every owner to obtain independent legal and tax advice.

What if I am not ready to sell immediately?

That is entirely reasonable. Many ownership transitions begin with an early discussion about timing, succession, and the future of the business. An initial conversation does not create an obligation to sell.

Can I retain part of my Fort Worth-area business?

Potentially. In a majority ownership transaction, the existing owner may retain a minority interest and continue in an agreed leadership or advisory role. Ownership percentages, voting rights, management responsibilities, minority protections, and future liquidity arrangements are determined through negotiation and documented in definitive agreements.

Can my CPA or attorney contact you first?

Yes. We welcome introductions from trusted advisers made with their client’s consent. We respect their independent role throughout the process. Information for CPAs and attorneys.

Considering the next chapter
for your business?

A brief, confidential introduction is enough to begin. Tell us what the business does, its general location, and why you are considering a transition. You do not need to send sensitive financial records with an initial inquiry.
